WTO

World Trade Organization (WTO) is one of the only globally active international organizations dealing with the trade rules between nations. Its goal is to assist the free flow of trade goods; ensuring a smooth; predictable supply of goods to help raise the quality of life of member citizens. Members form consensus decisions that are then ratified by their respective parliaments. The WTO’s conflict resolution process generally emphasizes interpreting existing commitments and agreements; and discovers how to ensure trade policies to conform to those agreements; with the ultimate aim of avoiding military or political conflict.
